Here are examples of client projects that have been conducted by Knight-Ludvigson Advisors.

• Financial and strategic advisory services for an emerging biotech company in the neurological and cancer therapeutics space.  Services include ongoing consulting on business priorities, financing, strategic decisions, budgeting, and staffing.

• Financial and operational advisory projects supplemented this Foreign Multinational’s internal capabilities.  Investment diligence conducted on a U.S. publicly listed company resulted in an equity investment and product development collaboration. Managed the investment as the designated Board Member, developed the product collaboration and related distribution agreements.  Eventually managed the divestiture of the investment for a significant profit.  We also advised on systems and operational integration, critical supply issues, regulatory and product strategy, and distribution arrangements in Asia.

• Evaluated potential investments in the IVD industry for a prominent Private Equity firm.  Evaluations included a review of product offerings, strategy, competition, technical capabilities and market potential for ex-North America investment opportunities.  The results of the evaluation were used to support deal decision making.

• Engaged by a New York hedge fund to help them resolve an investment in China, we coordinated and managed efforts with a team in China, worked with local Chinese government agencies, met with Provincial officials, engaged the US Consulate, and helped negotiate an agreement for monetary recovery.

 

• Led efforts to form a new company in China focused on Stem cell services.  We coordinated the structuring of legal entities for off-shore ownership of a China company, built the business plan, managed the early development of the team and laboratory facilities, met with local officials, established banking facilities, structured early investment funding, and provided interim start up management.
